Miles Crisp has been Group CEO since 2014 when Tarsus Distribution merged with A.C.T. Miles’s multiple mandates include setting and executing the business’ strategy and continuing to optimise the business so that its teams, operations, governance and reporting is world-class.
Miles completed his BCom Accounting degree at Rhodes University in 1981 before completing his articles at Coopers & Lybrand. From 2002 to 2007, he was a member of the six-person Deloitte Southern Africa Executive Committee and was in charge of Financial Advisory Services.
From 2008 to 2011, Miles was the Group CEO of O’Keefe and Swartz and from January 2012 to February 2014, he was SecureData Limited’s Group CEO and was responsible for the latter’s delisting and its acquisition by Tarsus Technology Group.
Miles is widely known as an excellent and compassionate leader. He has maintained relationships with almost all of those who have reported to him.
