As the leader of the Demand Factory at Tarsus Distribution, Johannes Groenewald leads the effort to promote awareness, stimulate demand, generate leads, drive sales and grow profitability through a range of digital marketing, demand generation, lead nurturing and market development programmes.
Johannes took this role after three years serving as regional manager emerging markets SADC at Tarsus Distribution.
Before joining Tarsus, Johannes owned and managed a digital agency called Hosting101. He started his career in South African National Defence Force, where he spent 11 years. From there, he joined Vodacom and was part of the team that launched the Vodacom business in the DRC and Nigeria. He returned to South Africa after eight years and held sales and account management director roles at Huawei and ZTE.
Johannes holds a BCom Hons from Unisa and a BMil from Stellenbosch University. Outside of working hours, you’ll find him reading, jogging and enjoying the outdoors.
