Pre- And Post-Sales Support


Certified and accredited engineers are available to offer resellers telephonic pre-sales and configuration support. Tarsus has full accreditation in all the products currently distributed and also offers its resellers assistance with custom-configuration of hardware and software images, asset-tagging and rollouts of large computer fleets.


The Tarsus Foundation


Over the course of the past financial year, Tarsus has contributed to various non-profit organisations in South Africa focused on early childhood development, as well as community upliftment and business development projects. Tarsus also has a learnership program which provides on-the-job training both at Tarsus and with our reseller partners.


Logistics, Staging and Stockholding


Tarsus offers a direct delivery service to end-users on behalf of its resellers. This, coupled with the custom-configuration of hardware and software-images allows resellers to assure customers of the pre-configuration and on-time delivery of stock.


Stocking and Forecasting
Tarsus works with its resellers and their customers to purchase all goods that are jointly forecast for supply and commits to carrying the responsibility for selling all “stocking” goods not purchased by the customer. This stock can be ring-fenced and held in separate virtual warehouses on Tarsus’ premises and is not available for resale to other resellers. 

Configuration Centre
Tarsus has the ability to configure products to reseller and customer specifications in its configuration centre before shipping. This service includes both hardware and software, and the processes used are defined and documented to ISO 9002 requirements. 

Asset Management
Tarsus' assembly and configuration centre provides facilities for bar-coding, labelling and asset-tagging of stock items to the reseller and customer’s specifications. Tarsus keeps a comprehensive database of all products sold for cross-reference and tracking purposes which is available to the reseller and customer electronically. 

Delivery
Tarsus offers a value-add delivery service for resellers who wish to have their orders delivered to their own premises or directly to the end user. In addition, Tarsus also offers the facilitation of deliveries into all the sub-Saharan territories it currently sells through.

  • Order an item that is in stock before 11:00 and receive it before 17:00 that day
  • Order an item that is in stock between 11:00 and 16:00 and receive it before 12:00 the following working day
  • For locations whose four corners are north of Centurion, west of Randburg, south of Germiston and east of Edenvale, delivery will be next working day before 17:00


Cape Town


  • Order an item that is in stock before 16:00 and receive it by 15:00 on the second working day.


Durban


  • Order an item that is in stock before 16:00 and receive it by 14:00 on the following working day.


Port Elizabeth


  • Order an item that is in stock before 16:00 and receive it by 14:00 on the second working day.
